It is a Virtual button enabled by you in the apps (Gang 2 and 3 of Air Con Switch is enabled by default and cannot be disabled).
There are few reasons why the gangs
(buttons) turn off suddenly :-
1.Device insufficient power
2.Overload or overheat detected.
Please check the device individual log in the
device page or timeline in the apps
Timer is running. After timer expired, the button will change it’s state from ‘off to on’ or ‘on to off’.
Eg. If the button is blinking BLUE (ON state with timer running), after timer expired, the button will changes to OFF state (Solid RED).
Installation
No. As our solution is fully wireless and plug & play, installation can be made before or after renovation. There will be no wiring or wall hacking involved.
Depends on how many sensors and switches needed to be installed. An average household will take around 3-4 hours.
Overload or overheat detected
Overload or Overheat happens, when the loads
(light bulb, downlight, ceiling fan and etc.) that are
connected to the gangs (buƩons) exceed the power
raƟngs of the smart switch. Please use smaller loads
or change to HomeRevon high power lighƟng
switch to solve this issue.
Remote Control Pairing
STEP 1 : Press any switch button of HomeRevon smart switch 10 times continuously (until led turned green or changed in colour) to enter configuration mode.
STEP 2 : Press Remote Control button number that matched with the switch button number pressed in step 1.
STEP 3 : Switch status changed indicate remote control is successfully paired with HomeRevon smart switch.
STEP 4 : Only 1 remote control can be paired with 1 HomeRevon smart switch.
Remote Control Un-pairing
STEP 5 : Press all 4 button of remote control together for 2 second.
STEP 6 : Press the remote control to check whether it was successfully un-paired
Remote Control Replacement
STEP 7 : Follow again pairing Step 1.
STEP 8: Press the remote control to check whether it was successfully paired
- Virtual button is the gang (button), that the connection was un-linked from the load (light, fan etc)
- The load that connected to the virtual button will not be turned on when the button was turned on
- So that, it can be programmed for other purposes in the task (eg. Press the virtual button to activate other switches, to open gate for pedestrian, to arm/disarm alarm and etc.)
- Virtual button is GREEN in colour when turning on.
